Baz this must happen a lot. I see exactly what you're talking about at Macro all the time, someone with a trolley stacked to the rafters with probably 50+ different items and there's no way everything gets scanned, the cashiers lift and scan what's underneath but they must miss items and often.

Next step is Somchai the security guard looks at their receipt which is about half a meter long, then has a cursory glance at their trolley and what's under the top layer. Unless he's 10 times as good as Dustin Hoffman in Rain Man there's no way he could know that what's on the receipt are the only items in the trolley.

    Didn't say it was.

Enjoy the extra 60km drive to buy the same stuff in the same manner.

Wonder if you'll ever work out how the 'quote and comment' thing works.

Deflection, obfuscation, distraction, name calling ..... the relentless ignorance of avoidance.
No matter the facts presented, or the questions posed, the response is entirely predictable.

I would have thought you had enough shame last night when Harry and Topper ripped you a new one. At least you could claim you were pissed then. Sun not down yet and here you are offering yourself up for further ridicule.

Along with the accompanying reds, of course.

    Ole henpecked Jacko never changes.

Hope his missus doesn't fall out with the local pampers supplier.

On the upside, I'm learning a little about his multitude of bans via the repo system too.

Dear oh dear. Is there anyone who hasn't concluded that he's a total lowlife?

    Standard practice in cm.

Just the way they do it. Who but a hothead or drunk would get worked up about it?

Seriously Frank, how old are you again? You looked in your late 60's when I met you, yet you're using 6th grade insults?

Enjoy the extra 60km drive and I hope they don't check your trolley there....

The second childhood is a common phenomenon on forums though, eh?

Keekwai was a classic example on another forum.

    60 going on 12.

The thing is, because the Thai are renown for their petty thievery all supermarkets employ security to double check customers. For reasons that remain curious most of these folk are bull dyke monkeys and are of course incapable of any judgement, discretion or intelligence.
All part of the third world service in a third world country.
I haven't been in a Big C, Tesco Lotus or Makro for nearly two years now, thank God. A dispiriting experience in so many ways.

In what way is living in Pattaya not totally dispiriting though, seeking ass?

At least those in Makro are making a mostly honest living, if a somewhat plebeian one according to your exalted tastes.

You in contrast seem to revel in living with low life scum who haven't done an honest day's work in their lives.

Does this tie in well with your work experience in the foreign office?

It's annoying, that's for sure. It's the time they spend at the task that gets my goat. If they want to do it fine, but I bit of speed would be nice. As a poster said, it's cos they are worried the staff are going to get their mates to come in to load of a trolley of goodies then sell em on the sly.

The supermarket trolley thing is an age old scam.

Years ago whilst living with hippies in up-state New York, one of the hippies girls worked the register at local supermarket, she'd only clock in a few items, you would walk out of there with $50 worth of groceries for only $20.

Do you really want everyone to think that you're an IDIOT? Why do people go to these big outlets?

Most people like myself go there to buy in BULK because a LOT of the items are NOT available at your LOCAL MARKETS.

Fuck off you wanna be. You're becoming another troller and even worse than the monkey twat or stroller.
