How and where you going to spend your New Years eve

Not planning a big one myself reckon I will head over to a new Irish pub near my gaff and neck a few Guinness and listen to a bit of diddly diddly Dee music, Maybe come dressed as a large version of a leprechaun? if the Guinness isn't having the wobbly boot effect might neck some whiskeys to...... To be sure...To be sure. What about you?

    Happy new year in advance

I've given New Years Eve the big miss for the last two years.

The two day hang over has become extremely not worth it.

I now revel in a waking up feeling good on the 1 st of January any year.

Maybe knock the head of 4 Dark lao's in an afternoon session but that's me done.

Beers before, on the way and at the Camel, an Australian pub in Shanghai. Then street beers. Then more beer wherever I crawl to.

Work on the eve, bed by 10. In work for a few desperately needed hours of catch up on the first.

Sucks, but minting it for now.

I can't remember the last time I saw in a New Year. I never have seen the point of seeing in a New Year. Does something magical happen or is it just another day?

I've been gifted a day off work on the 1st and thus have taken an executive decision to get blind drunk starting local at the Wolf in Gohyeong and progressing to Okpo for muchos carnagos.

    Happy New Year!

Sitting in the village, drinking and listening to god awful Issan music from the wall of speakers, started at lunch time.
It will not stop, day or night until every drop of booze is drunk, 3 maybe 4 days, so I'll stay pissed, at least I'll be able to sleep through screeching they call music.

I am willing to bet you cannot tell Issan music from Thai, Lao or Khamin.

You would be right, all their folk music sounds like someone being tortured.
This is a Lao speaking area, the Thai's tend to play top of the pops [Thai] type of stuff, which is bearable.
