wow, and i always avoided M&B thinking it was all soppy love stuff, righto, i'm off to the bookstore right now!

I used to get free M&B books by the dozen, for a now ex that used to happily trawl through them, and after she finished each it would end up in the giveaway box.

As a prank, I restored a couple of her read books to the bottom of her unread pile, expecting her to suss it out within a page or two, but then stood by dumbstruck as she read them completely over again. Then I told her and we had a good laugh.

Some time later she was halfway through a book, freaked out and gave me a smack for 'doing it again' - which I hadn't!

Go figure!
