Thread: War of the Worlds has arrived

Whilst up in the air-con half an hour ago the missus shouts at me to come down into the garden. In a scene reminiscent of War of the Worlds, people were staring up into the sky and pointing.

There were low wispy clouds and the sun had an outer "rainbow".

I've never seen this phenomenon before.
