buadhaioh boo hoo, just be lucky you got 20baht beer, and you're in a bloody jungle. Would you rather be in the concrete jungle called BKK... I didn't think so. Go cry me a river. Can't you nip out for some vodka to fortify it a bit?
I'm on my fourth can of 20 baht beer. What pisses me off today is that after a lifetime of hard work I'm reduced to cheap beer, all alone on my front porch in this crappy little moo baan in the middle of deepest darkest Isaan.
Where did I go wrong?
All alone. Again.Originally Posted by babygirl

It's what living here is all about I think.
You certainly wouldn't rather be living in Cardiff or Baltimore.
No. I'd rather just not be alone.Originally Posted by ChiangMai noon
I have just been down to visit Thetyim in Phrae for the second time.
I'm sure we were both a bit nervous the first time round.
I know I was, but I feel I have known the guy for years and had a really good time.

oh its rice whisky. i presumed that was strollers portaloo
looks like the Lao kow has been mixed with a little ya dong.
Yeah, the stuff in the large plastic bottle is rice whiskey with woodchips, the brown thing on the right is my wooden board for preparing betelnuts. The dark shape on the tray above is a leaf.
The Pringles (well spotted, slim) were on special offer at Tesco's, for 36 bt, couldn't resist.
