What pissed you off today?

my thai friend had a stupid dream last night and interpreted it as the number 1515 that i should buy at the singapore 4 digit lottery. i poo-pooed the idea (despite her predictions coming right twice last month).

1515 won first prize today and would have netted me $10,000 if i had bought the damn number.

Usually fly into BKK on Friday and never a problem with public taxis downstairs. Today (Saturday) it was a complete f'n dogs breakfast, albeit there was some nice eye candy about. Waited longer for a taxi than I remember at Don Muang and thought about going upstairs but was too tired and hungover to check it out. Will give it a go next time.

We have an idiom about this in Thai though.

"เห็นหลังแล้วอยากเห็นหน้า เห็นหน้าแล้วอยากหงายหลัง" =
"Hen Lang Laew Yak Hen Na, Hen Na Laew Yak Ngai Lang"

Which means Looking at the back, wanna see the front. When seeing the front, wanna be unconscious.
