You'll find it in a Simplified English Dictionary (ie. Websters) as well.

I never studied Latin in school. I do not understand many of the words on this forum. Some British English and some slang. I am like hillybilly, I speak "american speak".

I know the English Language started in England. But we didn't steal it. That's the language they were speaking when they left England. Later in America these people over time perfected the English to the point we now have American Speak

hehe makes it all the more fun to use it. Nothing like a good "ibid" or the occasional "proximo" or "ultimo" in a letter to make an official feel dumb.

Do we have to explain i.e. too?

I agree. American food is the worse on the planet except for Creole Style Cooking from New Orleans. Mexican food is great as is Thai food.

I like Sharp Cheddar but I don't know the brand name. I still like old world cheeses the best, made from goats milk.

Stick with TD, Cebu Rat. You'll learn a heap. And notice how quickly someone answers a straight question here. Little Chuchok just rolled that one out.
Nota bene -- just think of Brooklyn Italian restarants: Nota bene!! Note well, stupido, does the menu say it comes with salad?
