    Brits Behaving Badly

Because it happens far too often.

Let’s kick off this thread with a in Bali.

Investigation Launched In Bali Over Foreigner Who Drove Hijacked Vehicle To Airport

Police in Bali are launching an investigation into a British man who hijacked a large truck in the Kerobokan area of Badung Regency and drove to I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport.

He drove through the barriers at the Bali Mandara Toll Road and stopped just at the entrance to the international departures terminal.
The event took place on Sunday 9th June.

The North Kuta Police have confirmed the arrest of a British foreign national with the initials DAAH, 50, for seizing a truck with registration number AB 8084 BC in the Jalan Raya Kerobokan area at around 20.00 WITA.
The truck driver, Rahmawan Andrianto, 24, reported that he was sleeping in the truck at the time of the hijacking. He has told police how he was kicked by the DAAH until he fell outside the truck.
On Monday, 10th June, Badung Resort Police Chief AKBP Teguh Priyo Wasono confirmed to reporters that DAAH had been arrested.
The chronology of the events is still being pieced together, but police have told reporters that once DAAH had commandeered the truck, he first drove the Kerobokan Prison intersection and then drove onwards towards the Ngurah Rai Bypass Road and smashed through the Bali Mandara Benoa Tollgate. Footage of the truck driving through the barrier has gone viral online.

Police have confirmed that moments after DAAH crashed through the toll road barriers, he was chased by Bali Mandara Toll Road Service Officers. Police have reported that the pursuit of the foreigner continued until they arrived at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport.

Once the chase reached the airport departure drop-off point, the perpetrator also hit the entry portal and several other facilities.
Arriving at the airport, the foreigner ran towards the international departure terminal until he was finally arrested by airport security officers together with the police, not before he was beaten by members of the public who reached him moments before security officers as he entered the departure building.

Graphic footage shared online shows several members of the public kicking DAAH in the head repeatedly until he appears to be unconscious and unresponsive on the moving walkway as security officers arrived on the scene; where upon DAAH came-to.
Police have reported that DAAH has now been taken for a psychiatric assessment, and an investigation remains underway. Police are now working with the public to assess what damage has been caused during the incident.
Badung Police Public Relations Section Head Ipda I Putu Sukarma explained to the press, “In the truck, there were a number of Buddha statues, elephant statues made of gypsum or white cement. The estimated loss is IDR 150 million… in the data on the number of vehicles hit by the perpetrator, there were three two-wheeled units, two four-wheeled ones.”

Speaking separately, the Head of Public Relations for the Bali Regional Police, Police Commissioner Jason Avitus Panjaitan, told reporters on Tuesday, 11th June, that “Badung Police and North Kuta Police have coordinated with Immigration regarding this incident.”

“Apart from that, investigators are still waiting for the results of the psychological examination of the perpetrator, whether he was genuinely mentally disturbed or whether he was conscious when carrying out the action.”
The incident is being treated as an isolated incident and not as a terror incident. Despite the initial commotion, there were no disruptions at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, and security officers remained present and on duty throughout Bali Airport and the surrounding areas.

Bali Police have awarded the Police Chief’s award to two North Kuta Police Traffic Unit personnel, Aiptu Sang Putu Wirawan and Aipda I Made Maardika, for the role they played in chasing the truck and apprehending DAAH.
AKBP Teguh Priyo Wasono told the media, “Thank you to the three Badung Police Traffic Unit personnel who have carried out their duties well and are able to make a positive contribution in terms of providing services and maintaining security and order in the community. Hopefully, this kind of thing can be a motivation and be imitated by other Badung Police https://thebalisun.com/investigation-launched-in-bali-over-foreigner-who-drove-hijacked-vehicle-to-airport/

    Another one.

British Tourist In Bali Caught Red-Handed In Canggu Boutique Theft

A British tourist in Bali has been caught red-handed stealing goods from a boutique clothing store in the tourist resort of Canggu.
The news comes as immigration officials in Bali have spoken out about their strict stance on foreigners breaking the law on the inland.

The British tourist with the BPG, was caught red-handed stealing a bra at Lace And Basics, Jalan Pantai Batu Mejan on the afternoon of Wednesday 22nd May.

BPG was caught by the shop assistant, who placed them under the equivalent of citizen arrest until the police arrived on the scene.
After receiving a public complaint, North Kuta Police officers immediately went to the store to arrest the perpetrator. Reports show that at the crime scene, employees had secured the perpetrator in a back room.

Speaking to the press, the Badung Police Public Relations Head, Ipda Putu Sukarma, confirmed on Thursday 23rd May that the perpetrator had been arrested at the North Kuta Police Headquarters and was being questioned by investigators. The bra stolen by the perpetrator was from an expensive brand priced at IDR 1,100,000.
Sukarma said “Lace And Basics explained that they had identified and detained a foreign national who was suspected of committing theft. The victim reported this to the North Kuta Police via telephone.”

The police have revealed little details about BPG, only that they are believed to have been struggling with mental health issues and were once involved in a domestic violence case. Sukarma told the media, “Regarding the motive for the theft, I have not yet received confirmation from the North Kuta Police.”

^She is no disaffected Brit. Not ugly or angry enough. Even bogan tourists have been replaced by Russian draft dodgers!

The local population is predominantly Hindu, with a live and let live attitude. The fact that there is something for everyone here, does attract a fair share of scum from all parts of the world.

Its easy to live hassle free in this tropical paradise, if you can obey the law, such as it is in any developing, third world country.

Thailand does it by maintaining the xenophobia of the indigenous population. Easy to get by being aware of who you can and cannot upset.

Brits do not have a monopoly on stupid anywhere.
Philosophy is questions that may never be answered. Religion is answers that may never be questioned.

Yes, it's easy to tut-tutter the Brits. There's a little bit of Boris Johnson in quite a few Brits.

Briton Charged With Aiding Hong Kong’s Intelligence Service Is Found Dead

Matthew Trickett, one of three men accused of gathering information for the special administrative region of China, died in a park outside London, the police said.

    .
中文版A former British marine charged with spying for Hong Kong’s intelligence service has died, according to a police statement released on Tuesday evening.
The man, who was named by the Thames Valley Police as Matthew Trickett, was found dead in a park in Maidenhead, a town west of London, on Sunday. Mr. Trickett was one of three men charged last week under Britain’s National Security Act with assisting the Hong Kong intelligence service, and their case was expected to return to court on Friday.
Hong Kong is a former British colony and a special administrative region of China, and tensions between London and Beijing have been ratcheting up in recent months as the British government has become increasingly vocal over allegations of Chinese espionage. In the wake of the charges last week, Britain summoned the Chinese ambassador for a reprimand.
Mr. Trickett, 37, who was a British immigration enforcement officer and a former Royal Marine, was also the director of a private security firm, MTR Consultancy.

According to the police, a member of the public alerted the authorities to a situation in Grenfell Park in Maidenhead on Sunday about 5:15 p.m. Mr. Trickett, who was from the area, was found and, despite the efforts of emergency responders, was pronounced dead at the site.
“An investigation is ongoing into the death, which is currently being treated as unexplained,” the police said in a statement, adding that “a post-mortem will be conducted in due course.”
The police have appealed to the public for any information that could help in their investigation.
In a statement provided to Reuters, Mr. Trickett’s family said they were “mourning the loss of a much-loved son, brother and family member.”
Mr. Trickett had been released on bail after being charged with assisting a foreign intelligence service and with foreign interference. The Metropolitan Police said in a statement last week that “the foreign intelligence service to which the above charges relate is that of Hong Kong.”
The conditions of Mr. Trickett’s bail required him to register at a police station regularly, according to the Thames Valley Police. He was awaiting court hearings that were set to begin on Friday in London’s central criminal court

You appear to be suffering from a plethora of mental health issues. You keep changing your ape themed avatars indicating some kind of schitzophrenia, and your long standing intense interest in other posters repo and post count shouts of an obsessive compulsion disorder, and now you are developing an unhealthy and frankly racist interest in the alleged criminalty of british holidaymakers.

Are you by any chance a member of the towelhead tribe?

I know this is TD and facts are for the most part frowned upon as an unnecessary distraction, but I believe DW lives in a country that has a large (95%) Christian majority.

    Carry on.
