What with the wealth of Thailand-based experience on the forum, has anyone tried to crowdfund any Thailand-based business ventures?
If not, it might be worth a try. Any thoughts?

^ I would have liked to create a Formula Ford Thailand event, but have never been able to find a driver.
Other ideas that have peaked my interest are shipping a 200 year old cottage from a place like Bournemouth and reassembling it brick by brick over here or offering a burial service for people that have lost more (or equal to) 4 girlfriends.
I have also tinkered with the thought of employing internet trolls and warriors to breach Thai centric forums just for shits and giggles.
These ideas are just in their infancy, but I'm sure with the correct funding that they can reach potential.
Great thread!
Black diamonds? I shit 'em.
Are you looking to crowdfund an axe grinding business?
I know a guy looking for capital to buy/build a new bar on Silom?
No point crowdfunding a TD bar, not enough members left here to make it a viable business even with zero start up costs.
A 'TD fight club' venture might be an idea.
Get the 'Bumfights' guys interested, although I don't think they'll be visiting Thailand again for a while: 'Bumfights' Creators Flee Thailand after Arrest for Posting Baby's Head and Body Parts to US
A TD fight club?
Interesting idea. It cannot be at an expensive gym or bar, maybe a beer garden, it would need to be on the BTS, probably sukhumvit, the low numbers are too expensive, but the far end of sukhumvit might be right. What about On Nut?
What would the investors get in return? Or is it obvious?
OAPs of Malice
Kind of like Sons of Anarchy. We all get guns and motorbikes, nominate a president and become above the law!
How about a TD Space program?
