My wife is approaching 50. She doesn't use any of these vile face whitening creams, in fact rarely wears makeup at all. She might have put on a couple of kilos over the last 10 years but who hasn't.
She's looking good.

Not just Thai girls, Crepitas. Seems to be endemic amongst women of 30 and under. I've deleted former colleagues from my FB because if I'd seen one more duck faced selfie of them and their moronic friends in my news feed I'd have been tempted to do harm. Really not sure what the compulsion to take photos of yourself and make everyone you know suffer them, is. Vanity? Do they think people actually want to see them? Do they think at all?

Went past that marker 4 months ago. Happy to report there was no change.

I'm not bothered about the natural changes as her face ages, but I wouldn't be over the moon if she ever thought it was acceptable to let herself go and get fat just because she's reached a certain age. Luckily, she's just as against the idea as I am and goes to the gym 4 times a week so it won't ever happen.

I will add, (before NR gives me a slap) that it's not double standards. She would have just as much right to moan if I thought being fat was a natural, acceptable part of getting older as well.

It's all a bit much and somewhat saturated, regarding FB and selfies.
Especially applies to Asian/Thai females.

The long-time singular FB page that I have is 90% Thai associated of varied interests, groups, historic, literary, news, info, friends, etc.....

The insanity of daily selfies that comes across the feeds is stark and gloomy.

^ Not really. You're in control of who can and can't make photos appear on your own social media pages. If you don't like it, make it so they aren't there.

It's mainly young kids that do it and it makes people sound pretty old and out of touch when they moan about it IMO. It's just a sign of their times not ours.

I do think it's pretty sad when people in their 30's and upwards are doing it but hey, it's fuck all to do with me. If their selfies were appearing on my computer screen that would be on me not them.
