Friends: Does Your Spouse Have Any?

Just wondering if your spouse has any friends.

I've been with Ms. B for over three years now and not once during that time has she ever gone out with a friend. No lunches. No dinners. No evenings for drinks. As far as I can tell she's pretty much like me: No friends and no need for any.

    How about you?

Yes mine is about the same. All her friends are my mates wifes or family. I keep telling her to find herself a nice little female friend that we both can enjoy but as yet no luck

My wife has a real strong group of friends and when they get together for a karokee session, it's something to behold. She has always had Asian friends where ever we've lived and farang acquantances for the most part.

My wife makes friends easily, and has many friends. She really is one of those likable types.
I like a few friends, and many acquaintances.

Mine has plenty of friends, in Switzerland and here. She is very enthusiast, active, open minded & handed; she make friends everywhere, from all nationalities and background. She doesn't need to look for a job, actually have a job but people would like to hire.

No friends, doesn't get along with co-workers. She claims to have friends, in three years I have seen only one more than one time.

One of her school mates got married we were invited to a dinner before. This was the one and only incident of socializing with any friends we have ever done. She didn't bother to tell me it was pot-luck affair. She didn't want to go to the wedding...

I was just kind of curious. My Dad and his wife have none. My Mom (now a widow) seems to have many. My sister and her husband seem to have none.

I used to force myself to socialize, but figured since I'm old now I shouldn't have to do anything I don't want to do. So, I don't. Hence I'm happy Ms. B doesn't have friends or like to socialize. I wondered if that was unusual.

Me: Plenty of friends since before I moved out here, very few out here though since I rarely go out. My friends from elsewhere come by to visit every now and then.

Her: A handful of friends, meets them about once to twice per week. Not interested in making new acquaintances, is polite but not very open with new people.

^One day there was a rich and a poor man. The poor man was nayked as the day he was born and the rich man was dressed in wonderful clothes made of many coloured silk and carrying a sack full of gold.

As they walked along the rich man said to the poor man "Fek me, my life is a terrible fek up dear chap"

    "Why?" enquired the poor man

"Cos this heavy sack is causing my shoulder no end of jip"
