As I cannot post in News and speakers corner ,I just thought I would start a thread that I could post in ,firstly the title of the OP was way out of line ,secondly I thought (as others did) that the remarks in post *28 was a laugh a minute as I have already stated , All over Thailand even in little Villages and Towns the local Cops always have their trusty side arm holstered for what reason fuck only knows ,I see em regular directing kids to school in the nearest little town ,why the need for a holstered "dirty harry" ? which kinda blows holes in what Thaimeme said , only a few weeks ago I had to attend a local hospital in a small town as an outpatient for about 10 days to have intravinous antibiotics administered has I had a rather nasty wound in my leg which needed attention , I had the treatment and the wound dressed in the A and E room ,one morning I arrived to see a guy on a stretcher in a right mess covered in blood and both his legs was obviously broken as well as having numerous other wounds which I deduced was through an auto accident which later proved to be correct ,to my complete amazement there was a police man on either side of his trolley both having holstered weapons which I thought was a bit melodramatic cos HTF could he have ran away? and two all they had to do was sit out the only door in the place ,"Dodge city" eat your heart out

I wrote the article cos I am not the only member to be suspended ,I thought that they might want to add their ten bahts worth ,but no one appears interested so I guess I will not be "carrying on"
