Thread: Up the coast and crossing the pond.

Arrived in LA. Going to follow the coast highway from San Diego to Vancouver.
Then fly with bike Amsterdam.
Took some super pics of Union Station in downtown LA. Was built in 1939, beautiful art deco style.
I might post a pic but why bother this thread will be deleted soon.

Actually the freight from Vancouver to Amsterdam is just $2200USD and it will ride on the same flight with me, I can pick it up the day I arrive.

My previous airfreight (miami-bogota) was $1800 was delayed two weeks. I had to wait in Bogota. Three days in Bogota is enough for anyone let alone 2 weeks.

California certainly can be a paradise at times. I've been through Union Station many times and didn't really take much notice of it. I hope you have some of that great Mexican food while you're there. I sure miss that. Enjoy!

That looks like a really super ride also. It just don't have the stump pulling grunt of the big Honda goldwing monstrosity. It even has a reverse gear, which is necessary.
