The light in my room is so low that I can't get a decent photo of the bottle.

I bought a bottle of 'Paris Wine (Gold)' as manufactured by the 'Paris Production Group'.

It is in what looks like a beer bottle, with a typical beer bottle cap, and cost me 950 Kyat in the local super-market ==> about 28 Thai baht.

The date on the label is 2006 !!! The label on the back says (complete with spelling mistakes):

'This wine is specially produced with the latest European technic and formuls. It is stored for 2-3 years in order to get natural ferment.

Asian people definitely prefer the taste. Regular drink will reduce cholesterol and clear the heart arteries.

Especially regular drink will good for women health and assist the blood circulation thus enable grow younger and beautiful"

So basically, it is over-fermented Babycham that was no doubt rejected by every European outlet, and therefore shipped over to Myanmar to poison the locals.

It tastes absolutely revolting and I there is no way that I'm going to drink the glass I've just poured out and tasted.
