Had to replenish the bar. Short of Hangar 1 Vodka from the US, this is probably one of the better Vodka's around and not to bad cost wise. 949baht for 1 liter.

In keeping with my Mafia back ground, Thought I'd knock back a few "Godfather" cocktails.
2 oz Whiskey, 1/2 ounce Amaretto

Nice nose with the kick of Whiskey

Godfather cocktail, eh? It sounds delish! I'm filing that one away for when I am next out of this dry country.

I seem to be going through a cider phase at the moment, which ain't bladdy easy when you live in Korat.

Today I picked up a four pack of Thai Moose cider at Makro, then also noticed this... has a picture of apples on it so gotta be worth a try.

Comes out of the bottle completely clear... that was a surprise. Doesn't taste too bad mind.

I was OK Dil until you said Cucumber. That smell is so pungent. Ruins everything including Salads and Sushi..

You can't have Hendricks without cucumber mate. Its like having Jack Daniels without coke.

Got no cucumber so settled for a slice of lime, which has done the trick actually
