Bit of a long shot this one.

This morning I have been told rather an endearing tale from one of the locals.

All ways plenty of drunken tales of debauchery about farang etc, but this one is a good egg.

There is a guy living in Udonthani who is helping his mates widow finish the house he was doing for his missus.

She lives in the Lao Udom area

From what I have been told the guy from Udon is doing this off his own back.

The 2 of them are English.

If your a TD member reading this mate and you like to PM me your details I for one would like to come to either Udon or Lao Udom and buy you a beer.

Happy Xmas, the world is short of guys like you
I'm proud of my 38" waist , also proud I have never done drugs

Was that to pay the local builders. (MIL Assuming)
If it was money sent from Thailand back to the U.K then that is unusual, but I take it was a Christmas gift. Not a regular send Mum money to help her pay the heating bill.

If you is talking to me, then I sent some money to my mum in the UK. Or rather, I did a job for a chap in the UK and had him send it to my mum instead of sending it to me. She's now in Spain blowing it on cheap plonk, so it was good timing.

From what I hear the UK needs more people in Thailand sending money, and maybe even food parcels. Maybe those in Bangaladesh and Myanmar could help out too.
