I figured everyone got updated the night before (though still late enough notice to ruin your morning plan for a sunrise ride).

    I thought it was yesterday?

Buddha days every month, so you should always be aware that any trip/day is likely to get highjacked... My suggestion to the OP, would be to move to another country...

^indeed. Why would Tesco not sell alcohol on a standard buddha day; I thought that buddha days were just weekly/monthly marketing events organized by the local wats?

This the the tail-end of some Buddhist period where my wife only eats vegetarian food- I still get fed my usual fare, but it doesn't get taste-tested, so I occasionally get hit with way too much spice or overcooked noodles.

It's hell, I tell ya- hell.
There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

Yes there is. Every calendar that shows the different phases of the moon reflect the different Buddha days. Some calendars even put a little Buddha on the specific days...

I went to the Wat today and made offerings with the wife. We both did the raz-a-ma-taz with the numbered sticks in the can. We did this independent of one another by 15 minutes time I figure. She got the same number as me, #22.

Not good we're doomed. Can anyone help us?

Necron, always keep a 40baht bag in the house for emergency situations.

If I could get 40 baht bags, I would probably give up drinking.

You can't get them? Surly you jest? 40 baht bags are the results of white lightening being poured into the plastic bag by the vendor. No need to take the bottle as the vendor will recycle it.

Nasty stuff, but seems to do the Trick after a hard days work by local farmers.

Bettyboo, no they weren't there were at least 50 different sticks in the can. Sure there were repeats, but whats the likely hood of getting the same number 22?

We're doomed unless I can buy a new number tomorrow...
