    Demonstrations in Bengasi

I post this in the Lounge as I cannot find english language news on it, which is strange. In german language there is a lot about it.

It may be the beginning of what I hoped for to happen some day. Moderate Muslims fed up with the extremists may take their religion back from radical Islamists.

There are thousands demonstrating in Bengazi with apologies to the US for the death of Americans. Demonstrators have also overrun and burned a place of Islamic Militia.

Western forces may be able to hold the Islamic extremists at bay. But they can be defeated only by Muslims.

That is good news. I hope the reasonable majority in most other muslim countries will do similar.

At least 19 people have died as violent protests erupted on the streets of Pakistan's main cities in anger at an anti-Islam film made in the US.
Fourteen people were killed in the port city of Karachi and a further five died in the north-western city of Peshawar, hospital officials said.
Protesters clashed with police outside the diplomatic enclave in the capital, Islamabad, near the US embassy.
