    Some Advice Needed

My grandmother gave me my Grandfathers death Cert from WW2 that she received in 1944.
She has passed on and now my relatives want it my uncles aunts and even Mother I feel like they deserve it mire it was given to me.
I feel like if I give it to anyone else the other relatives will see me as playing favorites.

I will keep it for now. Any Advice??

"in the European area" if you don't mind me asking - does the family know where and where laid to rest?

I would be too proud to give that up; explain that to the family, buy a really nice frame for it and hang it in your home with pride.

Where is the flag that was presented?

I do have it framed, I dont know what happened to the Flag it might have been giving to a family member on My Grandfathers side. I wish I had that to but the Cert means allot to me.

Interesting story I dug up to. He might have not known that he had his son on the way my uncle.

The time line of when my grandmother was pregnant and when he died was only a few months apart. So im not sure if he knew he had a son on the way, The perils of war!

Families that have a service record should be proud of the sacrifices that were made. Many people forget that their freedoms where earned in blood. (no matter what country you are from)

    No offense

I recently became the custodian of a collection of family documents and photographs going back to My great grandmothers birth certificate and original school leaving certificate.
Of course everyone wants it (the collection) but they're not getting it.
Solution, bought a top of the line scanner, scanned the lot and gave it to them that way.
    That way everyone has everything.
    I retain the originals.
Now I'm the [at][at][at][at], but that's just the way it is.
