In answer to your question.
Yes this is sport.
I've got a lot of pics of me with the ladies at Sepang last year, unfortunately all spoiled by the fact that I am in them.
Keep up the research!
Yes, without a doubt, this is sport. Nowdays one of the best parts of most sports.
Great thread - thanks for the pics & vid
Prime cuts!
some of my pics, not 'grid girls' but from the sponsor stands on the concourse

and the real reason I was there . . . Rossi finished third but it was enough for him to be World Champion once again, he only needed to finish 7th or better to finalise the title for 2009
^ nice one mate looks like a good weekend out
first time I'd been to MotoGP - a big step up from superbikes in NZ/Oz, and looking forward to being there again in 9 weeks Oct 10th. There were so many sponsor stands 'manned' by lovely ladies . . . have lots more photos of them but all ruined by me being in them!
Only disappointment, and there must be a rule on this, was that there were no stands selling riders promotional gear - ie no Ducati/Stoner clothes, no Yamaha/Rossi clothes etc. Petronas had a display at the Petronas Towers Thurs/Fri before the race selling Rossi and Lorenzo gear, and R & L were there for photos, but that was it.
