Shocking decision.
But who cares.

160 all out well played Australia
Hmmm - England 49-3. Need to dig in for the final few overs and not lose another wicket
What a classic LBW decision... that aside, the aussies really need to pull something out of the hat and I still actually have every faith in them to do that.

But
Bugger.
Enjoying the swings and roundabouts and the game seems nicely balanced in Englands favour. (Waiting for the oh so English batting collapse).
The game does seem to be lacking some of the fire we used get from Lillee and Thompson, or Warne and Lee. England not much better. It's all a bit too civilised somehow.
I expect Ponting and Michael Clarke to come out guns blazing after their 1st innings disappointment, but i don't see much spark in the rest of them.
Very pleased for young Broad, i bet his old man is well proud of him.
Roll on tonight and let's hope for some fireworks. I'll be down the pub watching on telly.
I'm back from Cambodia, hadn't seen anything until now, sounds like we are in the driving seat but I wouldn't count any chickens at this stage, test cricket is far too good a sport to get lulled in from here....but lets hope eh?
Good to see you haven't lost faith in your English-like cricket team.Originally Posted by MeMock

We now need a captains innings from Strauss, and a retirement knock from Flintoff to post a good total.
What would you think a good lead to make the convicts chase? 350 plus or more.
Anything above 300 will be a tough chase hopefully will will bat all day and have a bowl at them straight after teaOriginally Posted by Propagator
Don't forget, this is only day three. If you give them two full days to score anything less than 450, the stubborn buggers will dig in and do it.
I don't think so . . . our batting is so very up and down, I wouldn't be on us not being bowled out in a day
SBS commentators reckon it's all over. Some bloke blaming it all on the pitch.
"We've got to bowl 'em out for a hundred"
"Has the pitch been fixed?"
"England are going to win. Who's to blame?"
Some bloke called Rodney Hobbs made these comments.
"If we can't knock off Flintoff in the first half hour we've had it."
"We need to knock out 7 (yes, 7) wickets asap."
Bless 'em
Warm day, dry pitch.
England 230 ahead. 58 - 3
Drama on the first ball. Excellent decision by umpire
Its ok to prepare the pitch to suite the home side. Good opening hour for England.Originally Posted by jandajoy
