It was quite refreshing to hear Shearer on the commentary throughout the game, generally saying that they're utter shit, playing utter shit, and everything about them in general, is utter shit.

Foden was the best when coming in to run the center midfield, which he did excellently for parts of the 2nd half.

It's like Scholes, Lampard and Gerrard vying for 2 positions. Him and Belli for that central #10. Drop Belli for a game for playing crud and build the team around Foden in the center for the next game.

Spanish exchange students were called spiks (with a k) where I grew up. Lots of 15-18 year old Frogs and Spiks would come over every summer in 2 week batches to stay with host families. No one ever called them Dagos.

Before smart phones and at the dawn of the internet, it was pretty much 2 weeks of watching us play football on the greens, drinking 6% cider, getting fingered behind bike sheds and oral sex in fields of wheat for 'em. Teenage summers were the best.
