Before the Marlins I would listen to the Cubs results mostly because I would follow some radio talk show host that was a Cubs fan. He was constantly disappointed.

The Chicago Cubs are an American professional baseball team based in Chicago. The Cubs compete in Major League Baseball as part of the National League Central division.

Throughout the club's history, the Cubs have played in a total of 11 World Series. The 1906 Cubs won 116 games, finishing 116–36 and posting a modern-era record winning percentage of .763, before losing the World Series to the Chicago White Sox.

The Cubs won back-to-back World Series championships in 1907 and 1908, becoming the first major league team to play in three consecutive World Series, and the first to win it twice.

The Cubs have the oldest stadium in baseball. The buildings next to it now offer "private" seating. These seats are not in the stadium.

I didn’t know so I looked it up Wrigley Rooftops

Very nice place. Kind of pricey,.........but “ALL-INCLUSIVE Your food and drinks are included; all your group has to do is have fun.”

Might even be better than seats in the stadium (cooler Chicago days/evenings). The website has a 360° view The Premier Rooftop Destination

Thank you for clearing that up. Up until now, I thought they were based out of Poughkeepsie, New York.

Eventually, Sianis and his goat Murphy were removed from Wrigley Field and on his way out ole Billy declared "Them Cubs, they ain't gonna win no more." If the curse wasn't born then, then it definitely was after sending a telegram to Cubs owner Philip K. Wrigley stating:

“You are going to lose this World Series and you are never going to win another World Series again. You are never going to win a World Series again because you insulted my goat.”
