Just my humble opinion but I see him kinda like being a "White Russell Wilson". Probably doesn't have the same level of game expertise or arm strength but he does keep the interceptions under control.
I think he'll probably end up with a career something similar to Fitzpatrick. Would love to see him be the long term back up in Seattle. maybe even the transitional starter for the next couple years.
Lots of pundits out there think he'd be a decent fit for the Seahawks.

Vikings. A team that finished last year with a slightly less shitty record than the Seahawks.
I am not so sure. Personally, I would have rather seen Pete Carroll go rather than Russ. Pete is going to be 71 and is too old to do a full rebuild, and he has too much power and influence over the team. Just look at the Jamal Adams trade for an example, where we gave up two first round draft picks for a safety. That trade was all Pete.
That is just the thing bad trades and bad drafts too.
I am pretty blown away by the fact Jody Allen chose him over Russ, I do not think Paul would have made the same decision. This video makes a pretty strong case for what is wrong with the organization...
I put Deshawn Watson at number one on that list, especially since he will not face criminal charges.
^^
He’s right. Now that it looks like there will be no criminal charges brought against Watson, he’ll be on several teams radar. Looks like Carolina is going all in to get him.
Surprised, Cowboys trade Amari Cooper for some 4th and 5th round pics. That's like giving him away. Of course with CeeDee Lamb and Michael Gallup plus some good slot receivers on the roster, Amari was expendable to save salary cap.
Such is the business of Football.
I see Tom Brady was at Old Trafford last night and was seen congratulating Ronaldo on the pitch after full time (Ronaldo became football's highest scorer of all time).
I know nada about American rugby, but I have heard of this fella.
Tom Brady and Cristiano Ronaldo unite after Man United star becomes all-time leading goalscorer | Daily Mail Online
It says in that report that Brady has only just announced his retirement- and he's 44! Did he retire at the top level?
That didn’t last long. I guess he didn’t like life out of the spotlight.
Tom Brady says he's returning as Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB next season
I am not surprised, put I am pleased. This takes TB out of the chase for Deshawn Watson. It also sets up a playoff showdown between him and Russell Wilson.
Deshaun Watson set to sign with the Cleveland Browns for $230 million, guaranteed. I hope it comes back to bite them in the ass.
Devonte Adams was traded to the Raiders. I wonder if Rodgers knew that was coming, or if he would have still signed with the Packers if he did.
^
Rogers’ greed cost them, in more ways than one. I think Adams realized the Packers were going to franchise tag him, and he wanted his bag of cash.
Next up on the quarterback carousel, Matt Ryan.
Indianapolis gives up a lousy third round pick to get him.
Great move Indy!
