I didn't really realize how dirty and underhanded Schumacher was until all these YouTube videos exposing him came out. He's still a very good driver. The data shows it. He would have done even better if he wasn't a cvnt. But he's German. He can't help that

I'll give it a chance. A lot of people were opposed to the current format.

All the teams agreed with it.

Pretty uneventful race, good damage limitation by Mercedes, despite those Red Bull wankers keeping the blue flags put away to try and get Perez past Bottas.

Sir Lewis gets fastest lap which will piss Perez off even more.

    Mad Max 1st. Shamilton 2nd. Bottas 3rd

The pit road spin makes sense now. Maybe it was done on purpose to give Shammy points

Not sure why they give it the lame name of sprint qualifying. They are heat races. Nothing new in motorsport

There is more action below in 3 minutes than the entire Austrian race. Better power to weight ratio.

Covid-19. The Turkish GP was cancelled so F1 decided to run in Austria twice.

When I was a kid we went to Skagit Valley speedway a couple times a year. Seen World of Outlaws once. Steve Kinser cleaned up. Dave Blaney broke the track record. It was an insane lap. It seemed like is throttle was stuck wide open. Also Dirt Cup.

There was some mini Sprint tracks we went to. Deming Speedway and Hannigan. I seen Kasey Kane race at Deming. He made it to Nascar.

Also went to Evergreen speedway over in Bsnubs neck of the woods. 5/8 paved track.

And Top Fuel drags somewhere near Seattle

I was there. My grandfather used to race there. It has been a longtime since I have been.

Pacific raceways. They have both a dragstip and a 3.62 km road course. I used to work vintage auto racing events there.

I used to drive down from Vancouver to race Karts at a track (road course) in Washington. Sadly the locations seems to elude me at present. Auburn maybe but maybe not. Many Kart tracks have fallen by the wayside.

Edit: Spanaway. The little grey cells need some work!

Mercedes still planning car and engine upgrades to boost F1 hopes

    Back on topic...

While team boss Toto Wolff said after its defeat in last weekend’s Styrian Grand Prix that the outfit’s development focus was fully on 2022’s rules, it has clarified that it does not mean that developments to the current W12 have stopped completely.

As usual, they are lying through their teeth.

    What are they lying about?

I think most teams are developing for the new regulations.

Red Bull have obviously done some good work, but that doesn't mean they are spunking their budget on it. If they are, they are fucking idiots.

You must have raced at the track in the Tradex parking lot in Abbotsford eh ?

There's also a Quarter midget oval in Langley. We were gonna start racing there but my dad chose to race a stockcar at Kent Raceway, (Aggasiz speedway now) Was the track champ in Street stocks in the early 000's. Then my brother started and we moved up to Sportsman. It was a Late model with a composite body. I hot lapped the car once but never really competed.

Many years ago but on the polite side of the border? The class I raced in would now be called vintage? 555
