Thread: Football - Fantasy Premier League 19/20 - anybody up for it?

Any takers for playing and joining a Teakdoor Football Fantasy Premier League?

If we get c10 takers then i am happy to register and create a TD League.

The Fantasy Premierleague for those not familiar with it is easy to play. You set your team up with a name and buy your initial team of 15 players from a budget of £100M. then once the season starts you make weekly team changes/substitutions and transfers within a spending cap of £100M. There are nifty buttons called Chips (see rules) which you can play once during the year and amongst which allow you to reset your team in case you fuk'd up badly and bought a bunch of duffers, Dill.

The league is live and interactive online so once the League is created you simply join it and play which requires minimal effort. The league is updated daily automatically with no further input necessary from me - simples.

There is also a Head 2 Head league where teams play each other that might be a step too far and simply encourage nasty inter poster banter or more than the normal league.

We could even welcome ThaiGuzzi as his beloved Canaries are legit Premier contestants.

It would be great to have Cyrille join but i fear at he will boycott it as WBA are not in the PL, he could however name his team The Baggies and it'll be the closest they'll get to winning the league.

One real Manure fan allowed so sorry Dill, and Lu, Hal gets the vote.

Chitty can join if he promises not to include Aguero in his team.

Chas, Loops, BB, Mendip, Arry, Troy & Bets you're in.

I feel sure it would also encourage back some absentees, Sid? but not Manny sadly as it too complex for him.

Dave and Nev are the only two allowed to enter a joint team.

Orrens you need a hobby

I will allow a joint US team inc Snubby, TC, AO, Davis, Humbert and Ray.

I am OK with keeping rivalry on the pitch and so a Team ANT and a Team SMEG could be a way to resolve TDs longest running hurt.

Team Sausage is also welcome but be aware there is a character limit on team names and so i fear half the season will have passed before you've proof read and approved yours.

Minty is disbarred.

Foreign teams and from the Bundesliga are welcome Stroller.

Pompeysbroke can enter and lurk all season, just because it annoys Ant.

Katie, Kit and Gracie; dip your toe in the footy world, i'm sure you'll get at least 30 posters willing to assist with their expert advice.

Lulu is allowed 6 teams but not the Admin function so don't get ideas about giving the buttons a whirl after 3 Lts of Mont Claire
