The way you’ve become the new ‘Souness era’ Liverpool is uncanny.
    We make/made our own money.

    Enjoy Division 2. Again.

    Glaziers money

Gonna struggle to off load the new Cantona, maybe a free transfer will eventually free Manure Utd of that financial burden.
Gonna need a big brush and rebuild at the theatre of dreams before you can compete with the big boys.

Dropping a couple of divisions in the process will build some character for the fanbase.

Mate, I've seen more City games at Maine Rd than you have.

Never ever forget that you're a tinpot club with shithouse fans and about the same number of pots in the cabinet that Huddersfield have.

You've had a couple too many lines of that Colombian marching powder mate.
Need to come back down to earth,it may hurt.

Like i said, a clean sweep and possibly drop a couple of divisions.

Bit like City in the late 90's.

You never know, you might be sitting pretty like City in 20 years time

    ^^More whiney butthurt.

It must be music to their ears.

If 'history' mattered so much to United fans they would have been cheering wildly for Liverpool.

Enjoy another season of headlines for all the wrong reasons.

Ole out by December, then Big Sam will make them safe.

At least we'll be making headlines.

    What about your team?

Looks like a tough road ahead of us. Hughton would be a good choice, imo. Always admired him both as a player and manager.

Do you think you have the right personnel for the major rebuilding that is required?

Do you think it can be done for under a billion?

I wouldn't be surprised if those Saudi backers move in and, as if by magic, middle eastern money becomes perfectly acceptable to you.

They are sure as fuck never going to get anywhere under the Glazers.

You know what? No, it wouldn't be, but it's gonna be a shitshow whoever owns us 'cos that's what football is these days.

Owned by the Glazers who milk us for every penny or a load of Saudi despots? At least they'll put a few bob in, but it's a pile of shit no matter what happens.

So much for this massive difference between United and City that you lot endlessly go on about then.

You'd kiss it goodbye in an instant.

    But, hey...history.

Eh? You cut my comment in half as anyone who's read the post can see.

It's ridiculously poor form if you think that's gonna stand up in court.

It must therefore be frustrating to see that this new “legacy” has not won universal acclaim. Lately Pep has taken to complaining that the media in England are biased against City in favour of the traditional big clubs, Liverpool and Manchester United. When he noted in his pre-Cup final press conference that the Daily Mail website’s top story last Monday had been about Paul Pogba rowing with Manchester United fans rather than City winning the league, he was making, in more polite terms, the exact same point that an angry Man City fan shouted into the Wembley press box on Saturday: “We’ve done the domestic f**king treble, no one’s ever done it before, but you’ll all have Mo Salah on the back of the f**king papers tomorrow!”

On one level it’s obvious why media outlets might cover Manchester United and Liverpool more than City: these clubs have much larger fanbases and far more people are interested in what they’re doing. But it also needs to be acknowledged that, unlike the confrontation between Pogba and that enraged United fan, City’s story lacks the essential elements of drama. Whether they like it or not, most people see their treble as more transaction than triumph.

No bias from the Irish times, Old Trafford is packed with Paddy's on match days.

You are in that deluded Man utd bubble, not representive of Manchester and not representive of football.

The philosophy of Man utd has drifted so far away from the eras of the Busby babe's and the class of 92.

Only a complete clear out and massive share drop is needed for Man utd to recover it's former ways.
Throwing money at the problem won't work any more, they need to play all youth sides on basic wages.

Man utd need to lead the way for the rest of the footballing world, then the phoenix can arise from the ashes.

Got my money on Wolves, OGS can't afford to put out a team as they are barely surviving in the Prem.

The mighty Vale look good at 26/1 with Pepe fielding a reserve team.
