Might as well start this now, the fixtures are out on the day the World Cup starts!

When are the fixtures announced?

The Premier League fixtures for 2018/19 are released on Thursday, June 14.
The dates for all 380 matches in the season will be published at 9am.

When does the season start?

The 2018/19 season will begin on Saturday, August 11.

How are the fixtures chosen?

They are chosen as part of a lengthy process.
After the last Football League play-off, organisers can start compiling the fixtures.
Each club is put in a pairing grid, which defines the dates they will be at home.
For every date in the season, the fixture computer knows who is at home and who is away and then it will mix them up randomly to determine which matches will take place on which date.
In any five matches, there should be a split of three home and two away matches or the other way round. No team will ever have more than two home or away games in a row.
A team will also never start or finish the season with two home or two away games.
Factors organisers look at include whether there are clubs from the same area travelling on the same railway lines across the Football League and the Premier League on the same day.
Last year, Glenn Thompson of Atos - the man behind compiling the fixtures for the 2017/18 season - said: "We want to avoid having various 'pinch points' on the rail and road network. We also tell the computer to try to minimise travel on Boxing Day and New Year's Day."

Will the matches be changed?

The fixtures dates are subject to change due to factors including European matches and TV coverage.
