I've been telling you guys for years that the Renault engine is rubbish.

Watching the detailed analysis, the Yermin made errors there and took Hamilton out; he simply wasn't watching the race because he was in the wrong mode and pissing around with switches on his wheel then dived across very sharply and too late...
As much as I hate to say it, I think the Yermin had every right to defend his position. He only made a single move, which is perfectly legal. Hamilton should have taken a leaf out of Mansell's book and feigned to go go right and stay on the racing line. Would have been a classic overtake then...
Harry you do know Lauda is one of Hamiltons biggest backers dont you? He called it as he saw it. The stewards have simply said "Racing Incident" .Originally Posted by harrybarracuda
From the cockpit shots, the Yermin was simple not paying attention to the road or cars around him, he made a mistake, Hamilton tried to take advantage, then the Yermin made another mistake...
Having said that, it is racing and shit happens, so maybe the stewards got it right.
For Hamilton, Merc is becoming toxic now, so he should leave at the end of the season.
Cycling should be banned!!!
Both drivers were summoned to face the stewards after the race but escaped without punishment with their clash adjudged to have been a racing incident.Originally Posted by aging one

He simply reacted too late, but as it happened so quickly I think the stewards are right to call it a racing incident and nothing more.
But I still reckon they should do a cage fight.
Starting behind the safety car which should limit the opportunity for Rosberg and Hamilton to crash into each other for a while.
It looks like a mess, if they race it could be carnage.
Magnusson's gone on intermediates, Palmer puts it into the wall on wets.
That is one zany, madcap team.
9 of 10 laps under safety car. How exciting.Originally Posted by harrybarracuda

Looks like it might be Rosberg's turn for some car problems.
Now they're talking about the possibility of Hamilton going straight to slicks.
If he can keep on his toes while it dries out, that could be a masterstroke.
But a big gamble.
However whatever stream I am on has a plumbing advert so I have no fucking idea what's going on.
Oh dear, Daniel wandering into the pits and sitting there drumming his fingers while the team are in the garage sorting out tyres.
That could cost him the race.
Yea. Shame. Hard track to pass unless Hamilton's tires go off big time.Originally Posted by harrybarracuda

Hamilton shortcuts chicane and squeezes Riccardo off track. How the hell isn't that some sort of penalty.
^ this isn't netball, Norts, it's racing - you don't have to let somebody through because they get close to you; if R was close/brave enough, and his car was under control, there was space for him to get through... The issue there was that R had lost his balls and rear end.
Some comedy there from Nasr and Erriccson...
Will 10 cars finish this race? 5?
The issue is Hamilton ran through the chicane. Riccardo did not. Hamilton gained trck position by short cutting the chicane. Just sayin.Originally Posted by Bettyboo
