Pride, you know the organisation where he made his name as the GOAT Heavyweight fighter?

I was just asking as I'm a big fan of MMA.

Are you asking 'have I watched all his Pride fights?"?

Yes, sure, you can download all of them from MMA-torrents.com - Mixed Martial Arts Tracker : Home. Just search for Fedor and get all the Pride and probably some of the others in one big download, then look for the rest of the more recent ones as individual fights.

If you don't know how to do torrents, I can email you fairly simple instructions. ChiangMaiNoon taught me a long time ago and I need to 'pay it forward'.

You can use torrents to download even movies and music but I advise extreme caution doing that as music/movie companies don't like it.

    But Pride, UFC, K-1, etc--they don't care.

Instead, (gasp!) he jabs, he throws hooks, he kicks.

I don't mean to sound like a [at][at][at][at] here but he didn't fight any differently to a lot of his fights in his prime. I think he threw 2 jabs in the whole of that last fight.

I've seen a lot of them, but some kind of passed me by, (pride) they were hard to get other than on DVD, but if you could point me towards a fedor best of DVD (torrent) i'd love you forever.

Just re read the first post and it was a bit vague, i did indeed mean had you seen them all.

re the post above this - he looked back to his best didn't he?

Sonnen vs Silva next weekend, looking forward to that.

I've got to post this one, Trevor Berbick, one of only two men to have fought both Ali and Tyson, here in 1991 (he fought until 2000), goes to Japan to fight the great 'wrestler' Takada, which fight Berbick claims he was told would be under American kickboxing rules, which only allows kicks above the belt. So you could say this is kickboxer against boxer.

(Berbick was later killed in Jamaica by his nephew and accomplice who used a two inch steel pipe to bash the boxers skull in. And you could say this was steel pipe against boxer.

Oh yeah! the only guy who you could say has beaten Silva--well, Sonnen beat the pulp out of him for almost a full 5 rounds until the last little bit of round 5 where Silva pulled off a triangle choke against Sonnen to win the fight two years ago.

so we shall see the rematch.

By the way, sonnen is allowed to take testosterone, I believe. I read he has a 'deficit' so his taking it is legal--he is incredibly strong and this is why you can see him toss Silva around the ring for 5 rounds two years ago until...Silva caught him in a Triangle Choke.

A poster elsewhere wrote: "Was Sonnen really too tired at the end of the fight two years ago allowing him to get caught in Triangle Choke, or did Dana White (head of UFC) pay him to lose?"

Yeah Sonnen is taking TRT he pissed hot after the last fight so even if he'd won he'd have had a D/Q or N/C. However that was something to do with him not telling the athletics commission that he was on it in time, rather than him doing something he shouldnt have.

I don't have anything against people on TRT to be honest, specially the guys in their mid to late 30's and older. I mean look at Dan Henderson. Fighting for a title at 41 (?). There is the argument that if you can't do it naturally then you should just quit, but, if it's allowed it's allowed.

I don't think there's any rigged results in the UFC personally there's a lot of evidence to suggest there were in Japan in the Pride days.

I like Sonnen, I've listened to the Joe Rogan podcast he was on and he's very funny. Intelligent too. Silva though is the best UFC Middleweight ever and I can't see him losing. It'll be a great fight though. It's heating up

Do you think Dan Henderson is on steroids?

I am sure you are right about the Pride days, a lot of guys were on them. remember Wanderlei Silva in Pride? He was a heavily muscled beast with bulging veins etc! First fight in the UFC I was shocked to see that he had 'shrunk'. But then it all made sense: no steroids in UFC (well, sort of).

And is it true the it was Stephen Segal who showed Anderson Silva the front kick--I think Segal was in his corner in one fight. Amazing if true.

No but he does take Testosterone (Henderson).

Yeah Shogun Rua looked a completely different fighter too, with Wanderlei I think it was a combination of not being able to juice, age and damage to the head.

    Segal is nuts.

    'invites' available for mma-torrents.com

I have two 'invites' if anyone needs to join MMA-torrents.com - Mixed Martial Arts Tracker : Home, which enables you to download for 'free' most MMA events often within a few hours of their completion. I put free in quotes because it is a good idea to donate something, $10 or $20, to get started (and maybe donate something periodically, too, if you want) because the donation gets you 'going' with 'credit' upload.

For Muay Thai Torrents : Home I don't think you need an invite.

Looks like it is true that Segal helped both Anderson Silva and Machida win

    from wikipedia
^ Anderson Silva trains with Steven Seagal. Mmator.com. Retrieved on 2011-11-19.
^ Maggie Hendricks. "Steven Seagal helped Anderson Silva with KO front kick". Yahoo!. click here: "

Machida knocks out Randy Couture with front kick he learned from Segal

Anderson Silva now uses front kick to knock out Lyota Machida:

Segal looks like he's been doing a lot more pork chops than the karate version. More KFC than UFC.

In all of his films he always takes out the "bad guys" with punches to the balls, which should disqualify him as a bloke, imo. (Sometimes even combinations of punches and kicks to the groin..). Looks more like a women's self-defence trainer than a martial artist. Someone ought to Mace the fat cnut.

He uses his Colt .45 more than punches to kill bad guys.

don't think the world-class fighters Machida and Anderson Silva would want to mace the guy who helped them win. In fact, Anderson Silva is considered the best fighter on the planet, bar none. And he asked Segal to help him. More than I can say for the fat cnuts who inhabit this forum and who couldn't fight their way out of a wet paper bag.

Nick Newell is an American mixed martial artist, who fights at lightweight. He is well known for being a one-armed fighter, with his left arm ending just after the elbow, meaning he has no left hand and does not have most of his left forearm. Wikipedia

“The Master said, At fifty, I knew what were the biddings of Heaven. At sixty, I heard them with docile ear. At seventy, I could follow the dictates of my own heart; for what I desired no longer overstepped the boundaries of right.”

I know there isn't really anywhere else to put this, but, it's a bit like showing a bad foul in the conference and putting it in the Premier League thread.
