Yeah, have to be disappointed with all of this.
Lukaku, Baines, Coleman, Mirallas, Barkley, Dzeko, Yaya, Silva, Puncheon, Speroni all likely to go up by the full 0.3 by deadline.

am I right in thinking gerrard's suspension threat is lifted if he makes it through this gameweek without a card?
^yes....i'm not so confident of him lasting the 90 without yellow. will be a real battle in midfield.

Finally some stats that make you look good, jof.
And just after you sneak 100k ahead of me.![]()
What does the cumulative value of your team matter when you don't have a wildcard?

If my team is worth 105 million and yours is worth 110 then I have to buy, say, Shelvey and you can go and buy Silva.Originally Posted by Jimmy McNulty
Hazard has just limped off after 10 minutes or so.
Low team value = lots of donkeys
High team value = quality players.
Lots of hits needed for the bin babies if dgw carnage is to be avoided.
Yes, of course, you're going to have more valuable players in your team at that point in time but it's all a bit more nuanced than that isn't it. How about players that have dropped in value due to injury, weeks without a game, a bad run of fixtures etc. and how about Re, also ahead of you, Joffers, who focused on his first eleven and defence all season just about and his team's value reflects that.
While your team went up in value, mine went down. In the past 6 weeks, the difference between yours and mine grew from 4m to 8m. But in all those weeks save the DGW I scored more points than you with cumulatively +23 over the entire period.
Cue Jofrey talking about how that 23 points will be wiped out this DGW, but there's still the other 58 points to claw back as well which has been accumulated with a lower value team. Again, without taking a lot of points hits, I don't see that the cumulative value makes much of a difference without a wildcard.
Jofrey's mind games.
Well the difference between me and noon over the last three weeks has been solely team value.
I had the money to get Silva whose been doing what he does when not either injured or coming back from injury: getting at least one assist or goal every game.
Noon got in sissoko because that was what he could afford. He scored 2 in a couple of games, and then shelvey who I think scored one last week.
The difference hasn't been massive, but outside of double game week luck it gets to be fine lines at this stage of the season when the better sides have so easily identifiably the best players.
For sure it's not the be all and end all, but it's definitely something that most managers at the upper end cultivate throughout the season.
Well, naturally, and it's obviously helpful, but I think that it should and does run in tandem with picking fixtures, formations, and captains. By Jofrey's reckoning, Re must have had a shit team all season.
See how I'm asking questions, testing my understanding? I'm going to destroy Noon and Jofrey next season. Abject destruction.
Yes team value certainly got a lot more exposure here when heebie jeebus temporarily edged a hundred k above me.

Re has just had Suarez on perma-captain all season....coupled with the strong 5 at the back he's done very well.Originally Posted by Jimmy McNulty

don't take any hits and play it safe. keep the 9m in reserve to pay for a new hamstring for aguero and a new toe for roonpig.Originally Posted by Jimmy McNulty

if you wish to make a table of hits for the past 16 weeks feel free ciz. it's a lot quicker to view tv and transfers...as i/you know.
No no, fuck that bollocks.
Just tell me who you reckon noon's got in.
Pretty certain he's swapped studger for djeko, as his money in the bank rose by the appropriate amount.
