^ I read that and the comments.
1, the challenger doesn't hit that hard and isn't that intense or he'd have knocked Khan out (not so difficult to do...). I'm not even sure his power would trouble the mouth (not that he'd get close enough to land anything...).
2, People are saying he needs to be intense and ontop of the Mouth to cause the Mouth problems, but I remember Hatton trying that and getting nowhere...
This is an easy fight for the Mouth, imho.
Cycling should be banned!!!
Yeah BB as I stated the war of words have started ,but words do not win a fight , Maidana cannot hope to outpoint Mayweather so his only way is to go for the KO which is hardly likely to happen , Mayweather appear's to improve like old wine and however one dislikes him ,one must admire his superb ring fitness when he steps between the ropes onto the apron , who could beat him from welter to light middle ? you ask some one else Cos I cannot think of any one at this moment in time .
^I'd agree with that. Can't see who would beat him. I'd like to see Khan in because he is fast, and might just be able to land a shot or 2 on the Mouth. Or, Khan gets knocked out or looks stupid and is schooled.
Either way, it's a win win...
This Argie will just be clueless after 3 or 4 rounds, and the fight will quickly become a boring and predictable one...
Now, will Groves be able to get at Froch again? That should be a really good fight. I'm having Froch to win with a mid to late stoppage, but any result seems possible in that very interesting fight.

Doesn't bet much better, for boxing fans, than that...
Great Photo,s and a deserved Mega payday for both of them ,I just hope the fight lives up to the expectations of the fans ,Froch has got the Tee shirt been there and done it , Groves is the more or less new kid on the block ,and its a hard one to call, Froch may have underestimated Groves last time ,but he knows the score now alright ,so I ,ll plumb for Froch on another late stoppage
Heres whats in store for us fight buffs in the next couple of months , for me the Hopkins V Shumanov fight will be boresville , But I do like the look of Shawn Porter who is fighting Paulie Malinaggi on the same bill which should a ripper, young Porter is an all action pressure fighter and of course Malinaggi a super defensive boxer who in his last fight with Zab Judah for me really gilded the lily ,anyway heres the fights stateside Boxing News | Ten weeks of big fights
Much as I thought Paulie Malignaggi just did not have the Firepower to keep Shawn Porter at bay ,Porter seems a real nice kid and great to see after the fight both Boxers showed good sportsmanship , I think Porters next fight will be with Kell Brook IMHO an easy pay day , Malignaggi's future is assured on TV and for me his vast insight and knowledge of the game plus having the gift of the gab for me makes him a valuable acquisition to boxings commentary team ,now looking forward to the "big one" in May
wladimir klitschko gave what i thought he would do,a real good flogging to the somoan who lives in australia, alex leapai.
poor alex was nothing but a punching bag for klitschko, outclassed big time,he hardly got a punch in,i liked watching klitschko do his job with style inside five rounds.
147 hits to 10 in five rounds thats a flogging. the truck driver from woodridge got 1.5 mil for his troubles.
I've been watching boxing for 55 years or so and seen some great fights ,but the one I watched on True TV yesterday between John Molina and Lucas Mathysse ranks right up there with the best of them , What a war! 11 rounds of non stop action with Molina having given everything he had and more besides getting KO'd early in the 11th .
Here is the report on the "epic" fight !Boxing News | Total War: Matthysse-Molina steal the show
Quite True KW but the overwhelming advantage in height and reach ,plus the quality of the opposition made the result an almost foregone conclusion , as you rightly remarked the heavyweight division is sadly some what devoid of talent these days ,especially when we hark back to the golden era of yesteryear , thankfully at the lower weights, they are just bristling with World class fighters ,if you get a chance try and watch Sundays "war" (for want of a better word) between Lucas Mathysse and John Molina which IMHO there was no loser ,as sometimes the true warriors who put up such a great fight win lose or draw give the fight fans value for money ,with the "noble art" coming out the winner ,I suppose thats all there is to it when all is said and done ,and BTW I see this is your first post on this thread so welcome aboard , the next "big one" is May 3rd ,Sorry to say the underdog Maidana is just not in Mayweathers league , but how I would just love to be proved wrong
Totally agree Piwanoi having watched that fight also. Whatever those guys picked up in purses should be doubled imo.
A fantastic advert for boxing with Molina putting his opponent on his ass twice early on. The commentators seem to favour Molina as the bigger man but the toughness and stamina of Mathysse shone through in the latter rounds.
Brilliant stuff!
Cant wait for Carl (the dodger) Froch to get his lights put out by Georgie boy Groves.
He tried so hard to avoid the rematch it was sad to watch.
Yeah Dobella ,all the makings of a mega payday for both of them , Maybe just maybe Froch was just playing hard to get until they made him an offer he could not refuse being he's in the twilight of his career ,for sure being the fight ended in controversy with many questions remaining unanswered its got to be the biggest domestic match up for decades ,the game at the end of the day is all about money ,thats a given ,the die hard fans(such as your self) on either side deserve an answer one way or the other, and it won't be long now before we get one eh?

You're right everywhere there Piwi except for the money, yes it is a showgame but both have enough money for it not to be the endgame.
George needs to shut this big mouth up and I hope he does.
only place i could find it
Lucas Matthysse vs John Molina looks worth watching
[QUOTE=dobella;2761540]All I hope for is that the best man on the night wins and the fight does not end in another controversy ,like for instance cuts ,all too often good fights have been stopped by the ringside Doctor who's only concern is for the well being of the boxer concerned and rightly so,Originally Posted by piwanoi

Froch and Groves are both mouthy bastards, but both can fight and are tough. I see Froch winning as he just has a better chin (yes, I know Groves put him down, great punch, but seemed like a flash knockdown; Froch's chin really has got him through his career along with stamina and grit.
An excellent fight that could go either way (Froch mid to late knockout win for me)...
The Khan fight is underway.
