Maitland; Vunipola; Hartley; and Waldrom should go just because it would be funny to have a bunch of Kiwis in the Lions.

Can guarantee that Delve won't be there, good player but Gatland has never rated him that highly......

Can't get on-line odds in puritan thailand- I assume the Lions are favorites?

The Italain prop that plays for England (Alex Corbis...) would be well worth taking if he's fit - the Welsh have an excellent front row, but perhaps a bit long in the tooth? (didn't look to be the case last weekend, but for a Lions tour???)

My test team is every Welsh player who started against England, but.......

I would find a place for Simon Zebo (if fit), Stuart Hogg (fuck, have to leave out 1/2 penny), Ben Morgan (if fit) and probably that Tuilagi geezer and maybe Geoff Parling. Oh, and maybe BOD, or is that GOD? Guffaw.....

I didn't say the English players were useless although on the day they were considerably less effective than the Welsh squad.Saturdays game was touted by Gatland as the game to stake a claim to a Lions place.Perhaps you could tell me what English players excelled.
I dont understand what you mean by balance is crucial to the tours success.In my opinion what's crucial to the tours success is a squad of players that can beat Australia.I don't care about the nationalities ratio I want the best players to go to Oz.
Don't forget Wales and to a lesser Ireland are big game players Look at there recent Grand Slam performances.When did England last win a Grand Slam?
I think England are a good side but young and lacking in big game experience. If you think England are any better than good you didn't see the game I saw on Saturday

It's a tough call. Tuilagi can be devastating, but Jamie Roberts owned him on the weekend. Ben Youngs was owned by Phillips (not helped by the English pack playing like a Welsh one, guffaw) tough to leave out Robshaw, but Warburton and Tipuric must play, especially Tipuric.

Favorites to kick some stinking convicted ass, guffaw.

Tomorrow is the big day when the Lions squad gets named.

The media seem to think that Sam Warburton has the captaincy in the bag. Hope so, but I am not 100% convinced that he is the best choice, but maybe the best choice in a field of few runners.

Paul O'Connell has just come back from injury and by all accounts is looking the part and if Gatland thinks he is an automatic selection for the Test 15 then he would be my outside choice to get it having done it before.

Other than that there are few options although I could still se a suprise with a non captain getting it, pseudolus mentioned Wood which is not altogether silly and AWJ's name has been bandied around a fair bit.

There is something that does lead me to believe that Big Sam has it and has already been informed.

No way Farrell can start, he chokes in the big games, was schooled by Mr Wilkinson on the weekend.

I don't know how big the squad is, but they are playing each Super XV side, with 3 day gaps.... That's some workload...

So I hear...... I'm not convinced by Farrell, but then I'm not convinced by Flood or Preistland or Biggar and certaily not by Hook to fill that number 10 shirt either.

That's why I would like to see Wilkinson get it, always been a Jonny fan.
