Thaicom Thursday issued a statement denying its Thaicom 5 broadcasting satellite had slipped out of its orbital slot.
The statement said the firm has already put the situation under control and was proceeding to make Thaicom resume normal service soon.
It confirmed that Thaicom is still positioned at 78.5 degree east orbital slot.
The glitches had knocked off all satellite TV programmes in Thailand that use Thaicom 5 satellite.

Electrostatic discharge affected operator's clients in Thailand, Myanmar, India.
Thaicom PCL, Thailand's privately owned sole satellite operator, said Thursday that one of its broadcasting satellites has returned to normal after experiencing technical problems.
Chief Executive Arak Chonlatanon told a press conference that the problem had been caused by electrostatic discharge, the incidence of which cannot be predicted.
He said the problem usually takes around 10 hours to resolve, but it had completed the process in around three hours.
The technical problem had affected some of its clients in Asia, including Thailand, Myanmar, and India.

Thaicom Plc must take responsibility for the television blackout that triggered rumours of a coup, Deputy Prime Minister Suthep Thaugsuban says.
He said the company must explain to the public what was wrong with its satellite. "Thaicom should provide a clarification. It is a public service provider and has to take responsibility. Just explain to the public," Mr Suthep said.
Thursday's nationwide television blackout, caused by a satellite technical glitch, sparked intense coup rumours.
