Kevin Michael "GG" Allin (born Jesus Christ Allin 29 August 1956 – 28 June 1993) was a punk rock singer-songwriter and musician who performed and recorded with many groups during his career.
Allin is best remembered for his notorious live performances that typically featured wildly transgressive acts such as Allin defecating and urinating onstage, rolling in feces and often consuming excrement (coprophagia), committing self-injury, performing naked, taunting people to perform fellatio on him, and commiting violent actions toward the audience. Although more notorious for his stage antics than for his wide body of music, he recorded prolifically, not only in the punk rock genre, but also in spoken word, country and Rolling Stones-influenced rock. Though he has a small, devoted cult following, Allin's music, typically shoddily recorded and of mediocre musicianship, has received near-universally poor reviews from critics.

I wouldn't call him the unsung king of Rock n' Roll, but I have done a bit of homework on him and it seems to me he's just another victim of society.

He's on an early Jerry Springer show and JS isn't even listening to what he has to say because he's too busy winning the hearts of the good church going American people and making himself look good by making GG Allin out to be a monster.

here is a man devoid of any talent whatsoever , his act consists of violently hurling microphone stands , bottles and drumkits down into the crowd , kicking and punching them , urinating over them , defecating on stage , rolling around in it and eating his own faeces , dragging girls on stage and , by his own admission , raping them.

you can say that those who attended his concerts knew what they were in for , but to hail him as some kind of rock king is wide of the mark.

he was nothing more than a violent yob , justifying rape as a learning experience for the victims and berating society as boring and needing someone like himself to show them the way , blaming a violent father for his own shortcomings.


thankfully , he died of a drug overdose before he had a chance to develop his "art" any further.

he was a wannabe iggy pop , and he failed miserably.
