I decided to fire up my skillet again tonight... the third time in nine months or so. I ant to get my money's worth.
Some proper steak this time... grain fed Aberdeen Angus.
Looked OK...
But very under whelming. As HW says with lasagnes, from now on I'm going to leave steaks to the experts and just eat occasionally when I go out... there's many meals I prefer anyway. Should get a good scrap price for the skillet... it weighs a bladdy tonne.
In fact the highlight of the cooking experience was to discover that NZ has an obesity problem equally as bad as the UK.
