it was a pounded Thai French beef steak. Southern US term. Close to a schnitzel..

That is a soul food thing and it is regional. African American soul food. So not typically something that is available everywhere. You would have to seek it out at a soul food restaurant or some of the newer trendy places may do it now.Quote:
