Well, to be fair I also used Kraft mayo and I didn't make my own mustard.
The flour I used to make the rolls was store bought rather than grown on my own fields and worst of all, I bought the meat for the roast beef rather than hand rearing a calf.
Can't always be farm fresh Jeff.
I thought a calf was veal.
Egg yellow, a bit of oil, a bit of vinegar, dijon mustard, spice as you like.
Shake it all up in a jar, voila.
I myself prefer the stuff in a bottle. Tastes better too!! Those invisible men or women at the salad sauce factory have it down to a tee.
Next week i have to take two bottles of Swiss Salad Dressing home to my mum and sis. "the stuff in Sainsbury's doesn't taste like that". Bejeezus.

On a diet, so bought a steamer and some fish...
Some salt, mixed Italian herbs and some pepper. Also a few mushrooms and spring onions. Give it 15 0r 20 mins steaming away (or however long it takes; I'll check every 5 mins or so), then a bit of celery, and that's it... Basic and easy.

I also bought a lot more condiments, marinades and sauces, so I may get adventurous soon. Made a very nice soup a couple of days ago; this cooking lark is easy...

I'm not sure what fish it was, tasted a lot like seabass - cost 2,400 won which is about 70 baht.

Sorry Betts, it looks ghastly.
Next time make a bed of sliced onions, capsicum and mushies on some foil.
Fish on top, with chillies, sliced lemon and corriander in it or on top or both.
Salt pepper etc.
Dash of white wine and fold up the foil to seal it all in.
In the oven for 5 to 10 mins.
Done.

En papillote. See, my french phrases do come out good sometimes. If you don't have foil you can use grease proof paper.
I love cooking fish like that, keeps all the juices inside, and saves on the washing up.
Probably not as bad as Patsy though :)
Patsy seems to be aware of cookery, probably always got a spare smoke and a bottle nearby and at least as far as I'm aware does not have a penis, however small and inadequate.Quote:
