Always reminds me of me dad being sent to the patio to cook breakfast on a camping stove.

To try and make the Klement's Braunschweiger sausage sandwich a bit more healthy I decided to ditch the Pepperidge Farm Rye Pumpernickel swirl and replace it with Brownberry organic 22 grain.
The ingredients list looks long but it's mostly good stuff. I'll have to look into this Triticale ingredient though. Cant say I've ever heard of it.

Well thanks Jack. I know liver sausage isn't the best for you so I'm trying to balance out good taste and health benefits.

It's above 0 here so I'm going on my first bicycle ride of the season. I'll try and keep off the ice and out of the ditch.

Nothing more satisfying than a Brexit Breakfast

Local scrambled eggs, button mushrooms , baby tomatoes, Lincolnshire sausages, 21 day matured Scottish steak and toast.
Could have done with some French fries, Heinz baked beans and Danish bacon. We all have to take a hit

^ that's more like it; fine breakfast that is.
(although a little bit of pepper on that scrambled egg wouldn't go amis...)

When I was a kid of about eight or nine my grandmother rented the upper of a duplex off 48th street in the brew town . The owner was a sigle old man named Mr. Brown. He lived in the basement while renting out both units.
I recall seeing him often eating out of a can while standing next to the cast iron sink in the basement.

Yes we spied on him and played games like bang on the basement window and run away. Not much else to do there. I often wondered just what the guy was eating. Back then I heard stories of old poor folks that had to eat some messed up stuff. I thought of this....
