    Quails' Eggs oddly enough

You wouldn't expect quails eggs to be indigenous to Asia, let alone cheap as piss.

There are 9 types of quails indigenous to the asian region and 4 are farmed commercially - so why so strange- or am i missing the point ?

    I love them little eggs.
Are they exactly the same as quails eggs?
I could never afford them in UK so don't know the difference.

They make lovely sandwiches. Hard boiled with mayo

We went to Pizza Hut in Bangkok, there you can fill a plastic container with salad etc to take away for a few Baht, wife filled it with quails eggs, bargain I thought.

I always wanted to keep an egg eating snake in the UK, but chicken eggs were too big for them so you had to keep them supplied with quail's eggs which were a pain to find. Now I can get loads of cheap quail eggs, but can't get an egg eating snake here.
