Having a brain fart, I can't think of the best way to eat mango chutney. As a kid my uncle ate cheddar cheese sandwiches with mango Chutney, any better suggestions as it looks at me every time I open the fridge!

...not sure about mango chutney, but on occasion I have lime chutney to accompany omelets...
Mango Chutney in a bowl add an appropriate amount of tinned mackerel.
In my honest opinion it's a splendid. tasty. cheep snack or meal.
I usually make it around 40% chutney to 60 % fish.
With leg ham on a samidge.
With Pompadoms as a starter before devouring a prawn Vindaloo.
Makro has some smoked chicken breasts that I like to slice and eat with aged cheese, crackers/or toast and a good chutney or relish.
This is oddly puzzling... I know I've had mango chutney before and liked it but I'll be buggered if I can remember how.
With Indian food or with curry chicken
Mango chutney is sweet, and imo best served with a spicy curry, such as vindaloo. I'm a sucker for lime pickle though.
As mention by a few above me. I only eat it with popadoms or a dip for my samosas/chicken tikka/whatever Indian nibbles are on the table.
Best eaten from between the unshapely arse cheeks of a fat wench.
Mango chutney is not cocaine.Best eaten from between the unshapely arse cheeks of a fat wench.
As well as the above re poppadoms and Indian food, I like mango chutney with pheasant...it used to be a Boxing day treat when I was in my 30's.
Now that I think about it mango chutney would go well with foie gras
I can suggest nothing finer than a nice vintage port with that.
Would heartily agree.
Would the vintage port be aged in a pair of stockings ripped away from a fat girls thighs, then sifted through a mango laden gusset?
I have various pickles and chutneys, and there's really no science to eating it; dollop lavishly on anything, spread generously on plain bread when the taste buds can't wait for a snack, and in emergencies open jar, get spoon and feed.
