Needs gravy.
That's sitting in brown water.

Went in the bin
1 stars
A Tesco Customer 13th November 2023
Probably the worst prepared chicken I have ever bought. All the peri peri is on the skin which we don't eat, leaving only bland and watery chicken inside. Cooked per the instructions and then left to stand to absorb the juices but it was tough and tasteless. If I'd left it longer to crisp up I just know it would have dried out and become even tougher, There's a sachet of a very cheap tasting chili mayonnaise - why? - as the finished chicken is watery rather than crisp and tasty and mayonnaise with watery chicken juice is just yuck. And above all, the SMELL! Ugh - that fishy smell of cheap chicken that makes you think it's off. And once you smell it you can't unsmell it and and that's all you can taste. Couldn't finish it. First time we've ever put half a chicken in the bin - such a shame in a time we're all watching our budgets.
^ Have you wondered what kind of people write those bitter reviews?....
An angry tipsy at 9am on Sunday Wealdstone Raider-alike who would struggle to fit one in his Fisher Price oven?
Some rotgut brandy drinker with the cooking and carving skills of a double amputee who bought one with a big yellow sticker on it?
Some 12 digited hirsute fire hazard who is partial to Somchais old cough medicine and owns a chicken farm but can't think of what to eat with mash potato and who lives where the local rats have more meat and take pride of place for Sunday lunch?
Or maybe I just got lucky?:)

^ Obviously not, but I thought that cholera vaccines were a thing of the past and that now you are advised to be very careful about drinking water, but not vaccinated.
I've just checked my vaccination record and there's loads of stuff covered, but no cholera vaccine and I had been spending plenty of time working in West Africa.
Cheese on toast!

Looks drier than your sense of humour don't you butter the toast? Or are you saving up for some butter
The fish was that long the young lady serving asked if I wanted it snapping in two, how could I refuse her request..

£16.95.
Stick a fork in me.
^ Nice.
Did you use the glory hole?
There is such a thing as a free lunch.
This pla chon wasn't stocked, and either crawled into the pond itself, uninvited, or was the offspring of my ill-fated snakehead stocking exercise.
https://teakdoor.com/attachment.php?...6&d=1741673439
Either way, apart from the rice and garlic, a free lunch!
If you don't take into account the pond construction costs, the pump cost, the ongoing electricity costs and the medical cost from my manky septic toenail, that is.
https://teakdoor.com/attachment.php?...3&d=1741671941
OK, so one of the most expensive lunches ever!
https://teakdoor.com/attachment.php?...4&d=1741671953
Snakehead row, that was a first for me.

Isaan caviar?

Any good?
Imagine all those extra fish in your pond running amok.
It'd be like a scene from the film Piranha.
£9 Monday Mixed grill..

The chicken's from Sunday last week.
Nice fingers.
^^^^ Roe, not row.
How embarrassing.
When I was a kid we had mixed grill for soecial occasions. Sausages, bacon, lamb kidneys and maybe a sliver of steak. I used to love it.
