Lunch ... the second course

Some days I have Thai for lunch, some days Western.

Yesterday was Thai, some kind of a squid dish I reckon, cooked by the wife.

Today was Western... a spag bol sandwich to use up some leftovers.

I'd been saving a half tin of Heinz Tomato Soup in the fridge for a few days... the wife thought it was like the Batchelor's condensed soup and mixed it with a load of water.

What a shame.

And also my dad's favourite joke line of 'That's what she said last night'.


My main memory of those dinners is my mum tasting the vindaloo she had just made him, as we all sat down and she exclaimed 'Omg, that's too hot for pleasure'.

You can guess what immediately came out of my mouth.


Mum gave an 'Oi!!' while the table absolutely erupted. There was handclapping and everything.

It's probably not as funny when it needs to be explained. Was a perfectly timed cracker at the time though. :)

The one BLD posted up a few days ago really got me juices flowing. Which, with no disrespect, is probably a first for one of his posts. :)
