Toasted and slathered with cool creamy mayo.
And bacon.
And more bacon.
And more bacon.
And more bacon.
None of that draining it on paper towel nonsense. Get all that healthy grease into ya.
Grind of black pepper.

Tops letting the side down by only having Hydrophonic and not Iceberg lettuce.
Nice thick chilled tomatoes.
X-Rated shot below.
Loverly with a cuppa.
Good to see you didn't scrimp on the bacon.
Nothing worse than a bacon scrimper!
Believe it or not, BLT has it's own month.
April is BLT month and July 22nd is BLT Day.

Interesting read that.
"Tomatoes were brought to Europe from the New World at the end of the 16th century. But not as food. The original tomatoes were like yellow cherry tomatoes. Considered poisonous (they’re members of the Nightshade family), they were enjoyed as houseplants. Tomatoes weren’t eaten for two more centuries, and then only because of a famine in Italy in the early 1800s. They arrived in England in the 16th century (see the history of tomatoes)."

The BLT grilled cheese does look rather tasty.
Though struggling to see the lettuce.
With Avocado and pink chili mayo.
BLT Caprese Sliders With Puff Pastry Buns
Find it hard to beat the original, to be honest.
July 22nd is BLT Day.
6 weeks to practice for the TD BLT Cook-Off lads.
Reminds me, I gotta pick up some pickles off Topper.

*Note to self, get BLT ingredients next shopping trip*
I'm going to have a BLT this weekend. Just with no lettuce. Or bun. And hold the tomato.
Bacon. I'm going to eat bacon.
Will have another tomorrow I reckon.
Just considering.... will see what pickles Tops have.
Perhaps might melt some cheese with diced jalapeno and pour over the bacon.....
Decisions decisions.
The truth of the matter is though, the basic version is very hard to beat.
BLT is for pooves
Gimme a Bacon, soft egg and sausage double decker with HP any day.
What bacon did you use?
That belucky is alright.
Usually get some German stuff from Tops, but for thin crispy bacon for a BLT, just use:
from the sewen.
Just went all the way to Villa and no Richmonds. Had to make do with Yorkies
I prefer a thicker bacon and not the thin stuff. Thai German from Foodland is the best in my opinion.
Hot in California now is the BLT that uses guacamole rather than mayo. Gonna try one this weekend since we arrive Thursday morning.
