what has not been considered is that this is russian
I postulate that it is also a russian doll so thus there could be more fractions of images inside
Absolute classic book series. The movie was a definite disapointment from Zafods wrongly positioned heads flicking from one to the other, to Marvin who looked more like a cuddly toy than a manic depressive robot. In short bloody awful but the series, although dated, was much better.
BTW the answer is 15.
I've been wrong before butI don't have an "official" answer, just my own which is 43.
Boot = 10
Eskimo = 5
Bino = 4
Boot 10 + guy wearing two boots and holding bino= 29 + 1/2 bino = 41 (10+5+20+4+2)
Prisoners' dilemma: an oldie to keep the mind active.
Police nick you and your mate for a crime, keep you incommunicado, and make the following offer to each:
We don't have enough evidence to convict you on the more serious charge, but if you both remain silent we do have enough to convict you for lesser offences so that you each get 2 years.
If you grass on your mate and he doesn't grass on you, you walk free and he does 10 years. Same same, if you do not grass on him but he grasses on you, he walks free and you get 10 years.
If you both confess and grass on each other, you will get 5 years apiece.
What is your best strategy?
No tricks, nothing hidden, both guilty, all the info you need is there.
There is no defined answer to the prisoners dilema. Only potential strategies.
It takes a professional gambler to calculate the odds.
If you keep quiet, it's either 2 or 10 years, if you rat, it's 0 or 5.
Simple. Keep schtum and do 2 years each.
Will have some good stories for the chicks after getting out.
Some of us have morals and integrity.
Not you, obviously, but hey.
