    falcons and hawks in bangkok

i used to birdwatch when i was young so always have an eye out for unusual birds while over here ( yeah yeah, we all know the birdwatching jokes) so this morning whilst walking up the soi i live in, which has quite a bit of greenery and trees, i saw a smallish falcon which was kind of like a sparrowhawk but meaner looking, hit a flock of those mynah type birds, it got one, deliverd the fatal nip to the neck and fcuked off. any td,ers have a clue as to its name? i though it mightve been this Besra - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia or maybe this Shikra - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
but was a lot smaller and bit mor colourful
anyone else seen them in bangkok?

well pissed me off that i didnt have my camera in my pocket as i wouldve had a picture to share

Could have been either a Chinese Sparrowhawk or Japanese Sparrowhawk. Both similar to Besra and found in Bangkok.
