Mrs Quirrels Animal Rescue (includes turtle head story)

Last Friday I got back from work and for some reason decided to look out in the back garden to see if there were any frogs out there to throw stones at when I found these two fellows floating in one of the water things out the back

So being the kinds soul that I am I saved them by picking them out of the water and letting them go free

That evening I heard the sounds of cats fighting outside, as you know it sounds a lot like people shagging so I quickly beat one off then popped out to get some photos.

It turned out that Brown Cat (the missus named it that) was being bullied by a big tom. SO i got some nice photos then kicked the tom away. He wasn't having it so a good bucket of water sorted him out.

It also had the benefit of showing my dominance to Brown Cat and remind him not to piss on my territory.

    Turtle head time.

This morning I left for work to see a bloody big turtle at the back door.

It had to have climbed up two stairs to have got into my back bit fuck knows how it did but it did.

Here is the missus and the old lady who takes care of the grounds writing our names on the turtles stomach for good luck (I think it was really so that people don't eat it). The missus is the one holding the turtle.

I put a pair of socks on my hands ready for some pet rescue action but I was told to go to work.

Old school. Call me if you find a restaurant that serves lizard steaks. I want to sink my teeth into a nonitor lizard tail or one of those things that says. "Tokay". I hear that they taste just like chicken.

Squirrel, you must be racking up karma points with all this animal rescue stuff. Maybe God is telling you to quit your job and become a veternarian.
