Aussie Beer is Piss

Crown Lager is the only CUB beer I can stand. All the rest, Foster's, VB, etc. taste like dog's piss. In Quensland the standard fare is still XXXX, which is ok but not great. A few of the Tassie beers, Boag's, Cascade are good for a change, but my favourite, although hard to find, is a little Queensland brew called Eumundi Lager. Really yummy!!

fosters is even more shite (yanks drink it for crissakes!!)
VB is ok.
Crown Larger is just beautiful.

best aussie beers have got to be the home brew kit beers.
of which, coopers make the best brew kit.
that was me for about 5 years before i left aus.
got the brewing down to a fine art. knew how much sugar to put in without using a measure.
love it when you open your own beer, take a sip, and the result is a ringing in the ears and pin point pupils.........god i miss it.

Bad Aussie beers: XXXX, VB, Tooheys, Fosters

Favourite good beer: Redback and Boags

Favourite bad but get pissed beer: VB
