OIC.

I sometimes wonder how my own son(s) will behave he gets old enough to be let out on his own.

A friend of my wife (also Thai) who has a 14 year old son, was with us on holiday last year (The bars in Hua Hin are some what more relaxed than in Pattaya so children can go in without problem). He made friends with two very attractive young bar girls one of whom made an offer to sleep with him (no money involved) he turned down her offer, but I wonder if he would do the same a year later.

My brother has grown up in Pattaya, it has matured him so much. He went to the UK to visit some friends last year and found them really annoying and immature.

As much as I'd like to protect my brother and stop him from visiting bars I'll never be able to. I might as well just accept it as a part of his life the main thing is I know he has been brought into this world well and I'm sure your children have too so just sit back and take the ride

Took my son to Pattaya when he was 21. Never been outta the country before; Was a trip watching him get all red inthe face as the little Isaan girls called laaw! Think If his dad wasn;t there he'd a crawled under a rock and hid. after 4 years here he's not quite so shy any more...

I work with North-East Asians who take their families to Pattaya/Jomtien.

The kids can go on the "banana boat" ride (like an inner-tube) and they can jet ski and parasail. There is a water park, elephant show, alligator farm, and restaurants and bars for the adults.

The air is clean, there is water, and beaches (beaches average).

Pattaya/Jomtien/Naklua has moved towards more family centered things, and Ko Samet and Ko Chang are not far away.

The owner of the Jolly Frog in Kanchanaburi had an Aussie girlfriend when I was there, maybe the Cap remembers her. Although she complained about him (the boyfriend, not the Cap) it was more to do with his attitude.

I think that in a recent survey amongst Thai men, who were asked which nationality they would prefer to make love to, Japanese girls came out on top - so to speak - by a long way.

I am keeping quiet on this.

What didn't your friend like - if you can reveal that of course?

Sure, but he was asking about the difference between thai and white men, not the similarities.
