Asia Hotel Beach inbetween Pattaya and Jomtien

I will try to find out the proper name for this beach as I really have no idea what it is called, anyway it is between Pattaya and Jomtien and is a small bay.

To get there drive down or up Pratumnak Road, the one that goes past Buddha mountain, go down Soi 4 and it's right at the end, plenty of parking there so no problem with that.

Also on Soi 4 is the Asia Hotel which is a cheap low end type place for package deal tourists, Cabbages and Condoms restaurant and hotel for the more upmarket people.

Here is the entrance to the beach, where the sign is for Hill Beach Pattaya hotel is you go to the left of that.

    Down the poxy stairs.

Nice clean beach with about 5 people on it.

About 20 deckchairs in total and no touts trying to flog you worthless junk.

2 bars Thai restaurant type places at the entrance to the beach and a couple more if you turn right when your down on the beach, if you want English Food then go back onto the road and They have the Elephant Bar and Restaurant which is pretty good, they also sell draught beers including John Smith and also Strongbow Cider, supposedly they also rent out Quad ATV bikes aswell, this seems to be catching on in a big way in Pattaya.

You can't be exposing my favourite places like this, i have used this beach for a number of years and it is gradualy becoming busier and busier, i think the main clients of the Asia hotel are ruskies, they have proper sunbeds as opposed to the deck chairs you find on Pattaya and Jomtien beaches.

Also for an alternative night out you have the Tsunami bar on the beach, i have not been there for a few months since it changed hands, anyway it used to be open 24 hours and also they used to have full moon parties, i would presume they still do but have no idea. Late at night with the sea coming up to the bar, you could almost imagine you were on an island at times. A good bar to chill out in, if you want to get pissed away from Pattaya for a night.

I've also used that beach or years, I remember about ten years ago a Thai family used to rent one of the beach bars, mum would run the bar and kitchen and the two daughters would take the orders. The food was very good. Then they were gone, something about the rent going up. I used to play football on the beach with the guys who operated a speedboat used for paragliding. Those days there were no Russians staying in the Asia at all.
Mostly British package tourists, who would sit round the pool all day.
    A very nice "secret" beach.

How to make a nice quiet beach busy. Put it on the net!

I also use that beach low season but there are far too many Ivans beginning to use it in high season and that is bound to get worse when they start flocking into U'Tapao again.

Make the most of the next couple of months guys cos "The Russians are coming"
